Jack Weaver is a part-time freelance photography with experience in sports, news, features and multimedia.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Jack Weaver moved to Lexington, Kentucky, to attend the University of Kentucky, where he studied Marketing, Management and Journalism. He graduated in 2023.
During his time at the University of Kentucky, Jack worked as a photojournalist and photo editor for the Kentucky Kernel, UK’s independent student newspaper.
Jack was one of six finalists for the 2022 Hearst Journalism Awards Photojournalism Championship and has received numerous photojournalism awards from the Kentucky Press Association, Associated Collegiate Press and the Society of Professional Journalists.
